How does this work?
The process is pretty straightforward. You have specific needs to grow and maintain your business. We review your needs and provide qualified candidates to help you get the job done.
As a potential client, you browse our available Mavens and choose one that suits your needs. We’ll discuss your needs and agree on a plan of action that will best serve you. You’ll then sign a contract and submit the setup fee payment to secure your Maven.
How long will it take for my full time Maven to start working?
Generally, it takes about 1-2 weeks.
Does my agent speak English?
Yes. English is the primary business language in the Philippines.
Why the Philippines?
There are many reasons to do business the Philippines. With more students in universities than most European countries, the Philippine labor force has a formidable level of education. Filipinos are a consultative, customer-service-oriented workforce. They produce high-quality work at low costs and are very compatible with the American culture.
Additionally, FedEx, UPS, and other logistic centers are well established in the Philippines. With falling bandwidth costs and a strong IT presence, Philippine-based support is a smart addition to any U.S. based business.
What is the length of contract for a full time employee?
We are a long-term staffing solution and find that our Mavens work best on a long-term basis. We require that you hire our Mavens for a minimum of four months. If you find the service isn’t useful for you, there’s no obligation to continue it. On the same note, if you find your Maven to be very helpful, you may continue the service for as long as you’d like.
Could I hire a Maven for a project based Task?
We are a staff leasing / business process outsourcing company. Our service works best for clients who want to establish a long term working relationship.
Will my Maven work for others while they work for me?
No. Contracting with a Maven is similar to a rental agreement. The Maven that you lease, like all full-time employees, will work full-time (8 hours a day, 5 days a week) and will only work for you.
How do I pay?
We accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard and American Express) and Paypal.
How do I communicate with or train my Maven?
Use Email, Phone, Instant Messaging, Voice Mail, Camtasia video, etc.
Will I have direct contact with my Maven?
Yes. Mavens typically form a strong working relationship with their clients. Feel free to contact your maven during working hours.
Is the information I provide safe and confidential?
Yes. All information provided by and produced for a client is the property of the client. Neither the company nor the agent can sell, transfer or use the work product to any party other than the client.
What happens if I am not satisfied with my Maven?
We monitor and evaluate our Mavens. Our team will work with you to make sure your needs are being met. If there is a shortcoming on our end, we will replace your Maven with a new one.
How do I know if my Maven is working on the tasks I’ve requested?
Mavens submit a daily reports detailing accomplishments and tasks. Also, Mavens are monitored by an on-site manager.
I typically work alone. I am not used to employees or processes. How can I make this work for me?
We are here to help. Check out our tips, ideas, and suggestions. With clearly set goals and objectives, you can be extremely successful with this type of venture.
What is the time zone in the Philippines? Will my Maven work on U.S. time?
There is roughly 12 hours difference between the U.S. and The Philippines. Mavens may work on U.S. time if needed or requested. By law, we are required to compensate for this. A 20% surcharge will be added if a maven is needed to work U.S. hours (i.e., the night shift for them).
